The Brauner Foundation Needs Your Help

We hope you will help us get the word out about the excellent work of the Brauner Foundation. Our organization meets a great need in helping young women and minorities attain their goal of pursuing careers in the media and media related fields

In recent years our media world has exploded with opportunities yet there are not enough women and minorities enjoying successful careers in the business. Without more of their presence neither you nor I can have a complete picture of what our world is truly about and what is really happening in our society. That is not fair to anyone.

The Brauner Foundation's helps women and minority students as follows:

We establish and distribute scholarships
We create and fill media internships
We enlist mentors in the media to help students grow and learn

Equal presence in the media is of great concern to all of us and you take part in helping balance the scales by supporting the Brauner Foundation. There are so many young, bright and eager minds that need you to enrich their lives and our world of media.

Here are simple ways you can help

Have Ms. Betty Elam, President of the Brauner Foundation, as a guest on your program. She is a wonderful speaker who can enlighten the public about how they can benefit from or volunteer to help this vital organization.

Run a simple announcement at the end of your program announcing the Brauner Foundation. The announcement could read as follows: "Contact the Brauner Foundation for information on how women and minorities can obtain assistance in pursuing a career in the media. Please call: 212-945-2749."

The media represents us all and should be representative of us all. You can easily assist us in accomplishing our mission so please take the time to help us make a difference.
